Since 1984, Dixie Grinders Inc. has engineered and manufactured American made, quality grinders and parts that continue to advance the future of the food industry.  Our goal is to provide our customers with the most dependable service and reliable machines that yields them the finest products. 

 

All of our grinders are handcrafted in-house and made in the U.S.A.  Our customers use our grinders for a multitude of products (beef, pork, chicken, turkey, vegetables, pet foods, etc).

Dixie Grinders Inc. is a member of the Southeastern Meat Association, the Southwestern Meat Association, the Alabama Poultry & Egg Association, the Marshall County Manufacturers Association, and the Lake Guntersville Chamber of Commerce. Dixie Grinders Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

 

History

Dixie Grinders Inc. was founded in Guntersville, Alabama in August of 1984 by industry veterans Gene Grant, Roger Wiley, and Bill Sellnow.  They began their business by selling cutting parts and rebuilding the feedscrews, heads, rings, hoppers, and gearboxes of industrial meat grinders.  As time progressed, they began building their own versions of these major components and began offering their own complete line of grinders.

Today

Today, Dixie Grinders Inc. is owned by father and son Bill Sellnow and Matt Sellnow.  The third generation, Caroline Sellnow and Johnson Sellnow are active in the business as well.  We have expanded multiple times and now have around 50 employees and we are always growing.
